Abstract
There are many kinds of atomistic structure to be clarified in commercial alloys, especially in steels. In this investigation the objective is to clarify the behavior of molybdenum atoms in 19Cr-1Mo (at.%) steel, which was solution annealed at 1100°C for 1hr and aged at 600°C for 1hr. The result showed that there were two groups of Mo GP zones with diameters of about 70A ad 130A. The total density as 5.17x1015/cm3 and the zones were formed on (100). The atomic sites of a GP zone was not fully occupied by molybdenum atoms. The contribution of quenched in vacancies was briefly discussed.
