CRITICAL RESISTIVITY AND LOW FIELD MAGNETORESISTANCE IN Pd2MnSn

Abstract
We report on the temperature derivative of the resistivity of the Heusler compound Pd2MnSn near the para-ferromagnetic transition. For T > Tc a critical exponent α = 0.00 ± 0.05 is found. Below Tc, we observe a complex behaviour which depends on the quality of the samples and can be suppressed by small magnetic fields.
