Abstract
Magnetic properties of Ta1-xTixFe2 have been studied. It is shown that the compounds with 0.1 ≤ x ≤ 0.4 show weak ferromagnetism with the magnetic moment of 0.1 µB/Fe atom and those with 0.4 ≤ x are antiferromagnets. The origin of ferromagnetism is discussed in terms of the valence electron concentration.
