CONSTITUTIVE RELATIONS FOR GRANULAR MATERIAL UNDER HIGH STRAIN RATES

Résumé
Le comportement à de grandes vitesses de déformation d'un matériau sous forme de poudre, a été étudié en utilisant un dispositif expérimental à barres d'Hopkinson. Les résultats indiquent que la limite d'écoulement sous sollicitation dynamique est en accord avec le critère d'écoulement de DRUCKER-PRAGER. Des relations essentielles élasto-viscoplastiques ont été développées à partir des résultats expérimentaux.
Abstract
High strain rate behavior of a granular material has been studied using the Split Hopkinson bar test arrangement. Results indicate that the dynamic yield function conforms to Drucker-Prager yield criterion. Generalized elastic/viscoplastic constitutive relations have been developed from the experimental data.
