VIBRONIC INTERACTION IN THE EXCITED T2 ELECTRONIC STATE OF MnO-4 ION IN CRYSTAL FIELDS VIA RAMAN EXCITATION PROFILE STUDIESL.A. Rebane

The first helium temperature measurements of the Raman excitation profiles were performed for MnO-4 impurity in KBr and KC104 crystals. Data on vibronic mixing of the molecular excited T2-electronic state by ν4(t2) mode were obtained. Luminescence and hot luminescence were also observed with quantum yield ~10-5.
