Abstract
The carbon influence on the magnetic properties has been investigated in the system Nd2Fe14B1-xCx. The room temperature anisotropy field increases with C content from 83 KOe at x = 0 to 96.5 KOe at x = 0.75. A slight decrease of both Curie temperature and saturation magnetization has been observed. First order magnetization processes take place at low temperature.
