RAMAN SCATTERING STUDIES OF PHONON-SURFACE-POLARITONS

Résumé
La diffusion inélastique de la lumière est l'un des moyens d'observation des phonons-polaritons de surface (PhSP). Nous avons mesuré le spectre Raman des PhSP dans GaAs, GaP et GaSe pour différentes géométries et différentes conditions de surface. Dans ce papier, nous passons en revue l'information obtenue par spectroscopie Raman, les découvertes les plus intéressantes, et nous indiquons d'autres domaines à explorer.
Abstract
One of the ways to observe phonon-surface-polaritons (PhSP) is by inelastic scattering of light. We have measured the Raman spectra of PhSP in GaAs, GaP and GaSe for various geometries and surface conditions. Here we review the information obtained by Raman spectroscopy, highlight interesting discoveries and indicate further are as of study.
