PHONON DISPERSION AND THERMOPHYSICAL PROPERTIES OF SODIUM

Abstract
An equilibrium condition, which preserves the crystal stability, is derived. This condition in conjunction with recent dynamical model is employed to study the phonon dispersion and thermophysical properties of Na. The theoretical results are in good agreement with the experimental values.
