PRESSURE EFFECT ON THE NEEL TEMPERATURE AND EXCHANGE STRICTION OF AN INTERMETALLIC COMPOUND DyMn2Ge2

Abstract
The pressure derivative of the Néel temperature dTN / dp of DyMn2Ge2 has been obtained from the results of temperature dependence of electrical resistivity under various pressures. The value of dTN / dp is found to be + 2.0 K/kbar. The exchange striction of DyMn2Ge2 is also studied.
