Abstract
Total energy distributions (TED) of electrons emitted at room and LNz temperatures from a Fe78Si9B13 metallic glass specimen are reported. Spectra have been taken in UHV conditions from a vacuum cleaned tip. The results are discussed in terms of the hypothesis that the tip surface is Fe enriched with respect to the bulk.
