MAGNETIC AFTEREFFECT AND MÖSSBAUER SPECTROSCOPY IN AMORPHOUS Fe80B20 RIBBONS PREPARED WITH DIFFERENT QUENCHING RATES

Abstract
Magnetic aftereffect data and Mössbauer spectroscopy have been combined to study the changes with quenching rate of the degree of structural disorder in the Fe80B20 amorphous alloy. The increase in the aftereffect with QR correlates with an increase in the structural distortion of the Fe3B-like phase.
