LOCAL LATTICE RELAXATION AROUND 5 sp IMPURITIES IN IRON, NICKEL AND SILICON

Abstract
The local lattice relaxation around indium, tin and antimony in iron, nickel and silicon has been measured with K-EXAFS at the SRS in Daresbury. A large outward relaxation of the first neighbours is observed and a tendency for inward relaxation of the second neighbours is recognizable.
