FIELD EMISSION FLUCTUATIONS INDUCED BY THE DIFFUSION OF ATOMS ON A CLEAN METAL SURFACE

Abstract
The present paper deals with the structure and dynamic properties of a clean metal surface, that were studied by measuring fluctuations of the field emission current noise. Such noises can appear as a result of generation of plasma and acoustic waves, as well as of surface self-diffusion.
