MAGNETIC SUSCEPTIBILITY OF (La1-xCax)2 CuO4-y (0 ≤ x ≤ 0.05)

Abstract
Magnetic susceptibilities of(La1-xCax) CuO4-y with x ≤ 0.05 χ were measured as a function of temperature. The oxides are antiferromagnetic for x < 0.01 and superconductive for x ≥ 0.035. For 0.01 ≤ x ≤ 0.025 χ is decomposed of a Curie-Weiss and a linear temperature dependent components. The latter is of the same nature as in the normal state of superconductive oxides.
