Abstract
Ferrite (Fe3-xO4) films added with dextran [(C6H10O5)1200~1800] or sucrose (C12H22O11) were prepared by "spin-spray" ferrite plating at 80 °C. The water-soluble additives were mixed into the reaction solution. Lattice constant, magnetization, coercive force and the ratio Fe2+/Fe3+ in the films decreased considerably by adding dextran, while they decreased slightly by adding sucrose.
