Abstract
The magneto-optical properties and corrosion resistance of amorphous Tb-Fe-Co thin films by coating with Tb and Fe-Co layers are discussed. Tb layers protect Tb-Fe-Co layers against corrosion in a wet environment, and Fe-Co layers are effective against surface oxidation in a dry environment.
