Abstract
Ferromagnetic resonance spectra of metallic thin film layers of alternating magnetizations are calculated and experimentally observed spectra of eight alternating Ni and Fe layers of 86 Å thick are presented. Two different resonance peaks were observed yielding magnetization values (also supported by SQID data) substantially lower than bulk values. Possible explanations are given.
