Abstract
Tb0.3Y0.7Ag undergoes a magnetic phase transition at ˜ 36 K to an antiferromagnetic structure which neutron diffraction has shown to have two components. A commensurate antiferromagnetic component is similar to the (π π0) structure found in TbAg, but with a correlation range of only 42 Å at 4 K, while an incommensurate modulated component is like that found in HoAg, but with a finite correlation range of 290 Å.
