Abstract
Neutron diffraction and magnetization experiments performed on both sides of TN = 13.85 K in MnGeG are explained by a microdomain phase Q existing in the range TN < T < T2 (T2 ≈ 19.5 K). At critical fields, Q transforms into the same spin flop macrodomain phase found at T < TN. Biquadratic and antisymmetrical exchange effects are pointed out.
