Abstract
High susceptibility of linear magneto-optic effect to mutual orientations of sublattice magnetic moments and crystallographic directions makes it possible to distinguish visually crystal twins which have the same optical indicatrix with similar orientations of its axes. Visual observation of such twins is reported in antiferromagnetic Ca-Mn-Ge-garnet.
