Abstract
Low temperature susceptibility and specific heat have been measured of the diluted magnetic semiconductor ZnFeSe. Antiferromagnetic d-d interactions and indications for spinglass freezing are observed. The thermodynamic properties are calculated in the pair-approximation, incorporating antiferromagnetic interactions between the F2+ ions. A fair agreement between theory and experiment is obtained.
