Abstract
Microstructure of the Fe90.04Al7.86C2.10 magnet was revealed using electron microscopy. Torque curves, rotational hysteresis energy and integral were analysed to explain the magnetization reversal process in this alloy. It is found that this process in Fe-Al-C magnet, according to the Shtrikman-Treves theory, occurs by curling mechanism.
