Abstract
We report on specific heat measurements of (ErxY1-x) Co2 in the temperature range from 1.5 to 60 K. The variation of the electronic, phonon and magnetic contribution to the specific heat as well as the magnetic entropy will be discussed in terms of spin-freezing effects and the onset of itinerant 3d-magnetism induced by the 4f-molecular field.
