PARAMETERISATION OF SPONTANEOUS PULSATIONS IN OPTICALLY PUMPED MOLECULAR LASERS

Abstract
We identify regions in parameter space for which a single-mode resonant optically pumped molecular laser exhibits spontaneous pulsations from an initially non-lasing state. Our study suggests boundaries beyond which much richer dynamical behaviour might be investigated.
