Abstract
The switching dynamics and noise susceptibility at bistable switch points have been investigated experimentally using an InSb-CO laser system. An immunity to high frequency noise is apparent at the switch points. Switching out of noise and optical bimodality have been observed through a statistical sequence of ˜103 discrete switching operations.
