Abstract
Absolute double differential cross sections for projectile electron loss were measured in collision of He+ (0. 5MeV/amu) with He, Ne, Ar targets at backward electron emission angles (90°-170°). The experimental results are compared with the theoretical values calculated on the basis of the electron impact approximation.
