USE OF A CO2 LASER AS A LOCAL OSCILLATOR FOR A 10 MICRON HETERODYNE DETECTION

Abstract
We describe in this paper a laser heterodyne spectrometer for the 10 micron region (IR). A cw CO2 laser is used as a local oscillator. Laboratory and atmospheric ozone spectra are presented.
