CRITERIA AND PROSPECTS OF NEW LASERS BASED ON FLUORESCENT DYES IN GLASSES

Abstract
Based on spectroscopic data of laser dyes in glasses their applicability for tunable lasers is discussed. New combinations of dyes and glass are suggested for this purpose.
