Abstract
The enrichment of Ni at a dislocation in Ni treated W has been investigated, using atom probe field-ion microscopy. The extent of the enrichment could be quantified and the results are related to the present model, based on atomistic calculations, of the structure of screw dislocations in b c c metals.
