Résumé
La capacité d'amortissement dans les alliages martensitiques Cu-Zn-Al passe par un maximum pendant le vieillissement dans la phase martensitique. Ce processus est thermiquement active. On a nommé cette phénomène le "peaking effect" du second type par analogie au peaking effect du premier type déjà publié.


Abstract
During ageing below As, the damping capacity of Cu-Zn-Al martensite goes through a maximum as a function of the ageing time. This process is found to be thermally activated. The observed effect is called the peaking effect of the second kind while referring to the peaking effect of the first kind already described earlier.
