Abstract
A systematic internal friction study of irradiation-induced interstitial defects in dilute Ag alloys was carried out by employing a newly developed multiple sample holder. Internal friction spectra were obtained after irradiation by 3 MeV electrons at 5 K and after several subsequent annealing treatments. The multiple sample holder provides a uniform treatment of six samples in both irradiation and mechanical test conditions.
