Abstract
The fatigue properties of coarse and fine grained Cu-Zn-Al alloys are analysed. The evolution of the stress-strain curves as well as the damping (being equal to the area of hysteresis loop) is measured. The fatigue properties can be improved by combining grain refinement and texture.
