SPECIFIC HEAT AND THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY OF TmVO4 AND DyVO4 WITH AN APPLIED MAGNETIC FIELD

Abstract
Specific heat and thermal conductivity measurements of TmVO4 and DyVO4 with applied magnetic field are reported. Experimental results for TmVO4 are well described by a molecular field theory whereas such a calculation fails to interpret the DyVO4 results as short range order interactions are not taken into account.
