Abstract
The internal friction has been measured in the martensitic phase of NiTi (Cu) alloys at 1 Hz and 4 kHz. The detailed study of the strain amplitude dependence of the internal friction and the whole spectrum as a function of the temperature in the martensitic phase have allowed to attribute to dislocations the main source of internal friction.
