LATTICE PARAMETER CHANGE IN Fe-Ti-N ALLOYS IN RELATION TO SUBSTITUTIONAL-INTERSTITIAL INTERACTION PEAK

Abstract
Lattice parameters of Fe-Ti alloys containing different amounts of nitrogen were determined. The results further substantiate the defect model and the mechanism for generation of s-i peak in the Fe-Ti-N alloys quenched from α-phase region.
