DEVELOPMENT ON GASDYNAMIC LASERS
R.A. MeinzerUnited Technologies Research Center, East Hartford, Connecticut 06108 U.S.A.
Abstract
Recent developments on gasdynamic lasers include some approaches for increasing the efficiency of conventional GDL hardware, methods for obtaining extended CO2 wavelength coverage, and possibilities for some attractive alternate lasing media. These developments are discussed and those that were not reviewed at the Second International Conference on Gas-Flow and Chemical Lasers (1978) are emphasized.
