MODELLING OF THE SHORT-RANGE ORDER IN GLASSY METALLIC ALLOYS

Abstract
A new model for the structure of the metallic glasses M4Me was developed. DRPSU model (dense random packing of structural units) is based on the predominant metal-metalloid interaction. The calculated data from the relaxed model are in good agreement with the experimental data. The glass annealing process was successfully simulated.
