Abstract
Experimental data on mercury thermopower at high temperatures up to 2200 K and high pressures up to ~ 0.35 GPa (≈ 2Pc) are presented. With use of new PVT-data, conductivity data on mercury it is shown that thermopower and conductivity isochores with temperature increasing reach the plateau. Conductivity on the plateau changes from 1 Ω-1 cm-1 at 5 g/cm3 to 200 Ω-1 cm-1 at 8 g/cm3 . It is found, that the region of semiconductor temperature dependence for thermopower and conductivity has pressure limit. The region of anomalous thermopower changes is near critical isochore. At densities below mercury is in plasma state.
