Abstract
A singlet-singlet model for induced magnetism in amorphous systems is developed by assuming a gaussian distribution of the energy splitting. The susceptibility, the spontaneous magnetization and the specific heat are computed in a molecular field approximation and a rather satisfactory agreement is found with experimental data in Pr amorphous alloys.
