ON THE PECULIARITIES OF PASSAGE OF A LOW-CURRENT ELECTRON BEAM THROUGH GASES

Abstract
In studying the non-self-sustained discharge controlled by an electron beam the current of pulsed beam is measured by means of a Rogovsky coi1 or an electron collector, which collects the beam passed thro ugh the evacuated discharge ahamber (e.g., in [1] both methods yielded identical results). Steady-state beams are measured only with the use of the collecter.
