Abstract
Highly dispersed Fe, Fe-Ru and Fe-Pt supported on silica have been studied to analyse the electronic and structural state of iron during sample preparation procedure. High dispersity of iron was achieved by performing the impregnation with the use of pH = 1 solutions. The high dispersity was retained throughout the calcination and reduction processes.
