VARIATION OF THE ENERGY SPECTRUM OF BISMUTH, ANTIMONY AND THEIR ALLOYS UNDER STRONG UNIAXIAL TENSION

Résumé
Soumis à une tension uniaxiale suivant l'axe binaire ou bissecteur, Bi, Sb et leurs alliages perdent l'équivalence des trois parties de leur surface de Fermi. Dans ces conditions on a observé les transitions électroniques dans Bi et dans l'alliage Bi0,924 Sb0,076 de type n.
Abstract
Bi, Sb and their alloys under tension along the binary and bisector axes show inhomogeneous changes in previously équivalent parts of the Fermi surface. As a resuit, electrpnic phase transitions occur in Bi and Bi0.924 Sb0.076 n-type alloys under sufficiently large stresses ~ 0.3 + 0.6 %).
