Abstract
The surface of 260 Å iron particles has been coated with a Co ferrite layer by chemical coprecipitation method. The Co ferrite layer causes a decrease of specific magnetization and increase of hyperfine field of α-Fe core. The effect of the Co ferrite layer on Hc belongs to an interface effect.
