STRUCTURAL AND MAGNETIC PROPERTIES OF Cr/Sb MULTILAYERED FILMS

Abstract
Epitaxial Cr/Sb artificial superstructure films (ASF's) containing monolayers of intermetallic compound CrSb have a weak magnetization, 0.2 µB per Cr atom at 1.7 K. Interface Cr atoms of amorphous Cr layers in contact with Sb have paramagnetic moments about 0.4 µB Cr at 5 K.
