Abstract
The sign of magnetostriction plays a role solely at the onset of relaxation in nearly non-magnetostrictive metallic glasses containing Cr. Long-term annealing indicates that contrary to the general rule, the equilibrium Curie temperature does not depend strongly on the annealing temperature.
