Abstract
A semiempirical theory of exchange interactions in the polynuclear transition metal complexes is developed using MO method. It is shown that in a weak metal-ligand bounding approximation the -2J exchange parameters may be expressed in a closed form for a great variety of systems including those with polyatomic and branched bridged ligands.
