MAGNETIC PHASES OF Eu1-xTmxSe WITH x ≤ 0.1

Abstract
Magnetic phases of Eu1-xTmxSe with x ≤ 0.1 were investigated by ac susceptibility and 153Eu NMR. For 0.01 < x < 0.06 the antiferromagnetic (AF) NNSS state is stabilized through an increase of the ferromagnetic nearest neighbour exchange constant J1, and for x > 0.06 another type of AF state appears through the AF interaction between Eu2+ and Tm2+ ions.
