Abstract
Low temperature susceptibility and magnetization studies of KMnF4.H2O and (NH4) MnF4.2H2O are performed in order to study the weak ferromagnetism in these compounds. The canting of the antiferromagnetic sublattices in KMnF4.H2O is found to be 1.5°. The results for (NH)4 MnF4.2H2O show decomposition of part of the manganese system into two kinds of canted systems.
