Abstract
The optical reflectivities were measured on the single crystals of the typical Kondo substance CeB6 and its reference LaB6 in the energy range from 2 meV to 5 eV at 300 K and 10 K. Characteristic absorptions are observed around 12 meV from the excited Kondo state and 0.45 eV due to the virtual exiton of f-d transition in CeB6.
