Abstract
The magnetization of magnetically-aligned (Pr1-xGdx)2Fe14B samples with x = 0.0, 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 and 1.0 has been measured at 4.2 K in fields up to 35 T and the anisotropy constants have been derived. The dependence of the first-order magnetization process (FOMP) upon Gd substitution has been determined.
